| The dragon Stefan was lonely. He was all black and huge but didn't want to hurt anyone. He lived in a cave by the ocean and his dragon brothers had flown to live elsewhere. Knights in shing armor came to slay him but the dragon blew fire at them and scared them off. Now, the knights were on a quest to find the magic sword. Stefan knew the sword was lodged in a giant rock and he had the power to let them have it but it was has. Stefan flew around the valley and saw the beautiful blonde Princess Hope. He looked down at her and decided she was going to be his friend. He swooped down and picked her up between his claws. He didn't hurt her. Hope screamed. The guards ran after him but Stefan was high in the air and was taking her to his cave. Stefan got to his cave with the Princess. He dropped her gently on a blanket in his cave. "Are you going to kill me? Are you going to fry me? Just get it over with!" Stefan bowed down to her and put his big head under her hands. He licked her tears from her face. "Is it possible you are a nice dragon and won't hurt me?" Stefan nodded. He went to the back of the cave and gave her a long gold chain with a red garnet stone and purple stone. Hope put the necklace on. She hugged the dragon and thanked him. The King was upset that the dragon had taken off with his daughter. He promised a ransom to the man who rescued her and she would also be his wife. One knight accepted the challenge. Princess Hope left the cave and the dragon was with her. She found the sword. "This is the magic sword." The sword had a blue handle and Hope touched it. It gently vibrated and Stefan released the spell on it and Hope got it out of the stone. Hope spun it around and she made fireworks appear in the sky. She split the big boulder in half. She took the sword and made it rain. This sword was fun. The Knight Lamont got up on his black horse and headed towards the dragon's cave. He hoped he would come back alive and he hoped the Princes was still alive. He secretly cared for her. Princess Hope and the dragon would run in the forest. She fly around on him. Stefan fed her berries and apples. Hope loved the dragon. She decided when she went back to the castle that Stefan could stay in the secret passage by her room. No one knew it was there. For now, she liked being with Stefan. Lamont went into the woods and it was quiet. A big, grey wolf growled at him but didn't bother him. It stormed and Lamont found an old run down cabin to stay in. The woman who had lived there had died. Lamont stayed there until the storm passed. Princess Hope found the sword would do anything she wanted it to. She wished for her own castle. She shook the sword and a big, blue and pink castle appeared. It was in the clouds. It was perfect. Princess hope decided she was going to live here. She had maids appear and some guards and they do anything unless she asked them to. Life was perfect. Lamont heard the ocean waves and he heard laughter. He saw a big, blue and pink castle. There was the Princess with a sword and sparks flew off the sword. She asked the sword to give her a dog and a cat. A big, brown Lab dog appeared and a tortoiseshell cat appeared. "Princess? " "Lamont. Why are you here?" "Your father wanted me to rescue you. I see you found the magic sword. Where is the dragon?" Princess hope raised the sword. "Keep your distance. The dragon Stefan is my friend. This magic sword is mine. I can make you disappear. Please leave!" Stefan flew down and growled. He blew smoke beside Lamont. "Princess Hope. I won't hurt you or the dragon. You have the magic sword. I guess you have all you need. I will leave." "Wait. You can stay for awhile. I want to stay here. I could use a human friend." Princess Hope and Lamont rode the horse and talked. Lamont told her he had always cared for her. Hope said he was the only man she liked. Stefan the dragon liked him. Princess Hope and Lamont had everything they needed. They fell in love and stayed at the castle. Hope never left her dragon and she had Lamont. She did go home to visit her father but told him she was going to stay with Lamont and Stefan. The magic sword stayed with her and Princess Hope and Lamont lived at the castle and they were married. No one could get to the castle unless the Princess invited them. The magic sword gave Hope her own fantasy land and life. Life was good.  |
